WE ARE ALL FOR “EL SEGUNDO”…

The people of New City Church hail from all over the South Bay, but we gather together in “El Segundo”. “El Segundo” means “the second”…

Gathering in El Segundo reminds us that God’s best for our lives is found in being second.  

WE ARE LEARNING TO PRIORITIZE:

• God’s agenda and kingdom FIRST, our agendas SECOND.

• Others FIRST… ourselves SECOND

• God’s best for our community FIRST, our well-being SECOND.  

EACH OF US CREATE REGULAR ROUTINES WHERE WE:

• Look UP – On Sundays at 9:30am we gather in a large group to sing, pray, and focus on who God is and what he has done, is doing, and wants to do.

• Lean IN – Through the week we lean into community—encouraging and caring for one another—as we learn to follow the Way of Jesus.

• Lead OUT – We join God’s mission in bringing hope and healing to our hurting world.

OUR HOPE IS THAT ALL OF OUR MINISTRIES WOULD LEAD TO:

• Spiritual Growth

• Open/civil Dialogue

• Unity

• Prayer

• Hospitality
